Pre-Race Tech/Safety Inspection!!!
This is not the "run of the mill" NEETS enduro! Although all cars are subject to a pre-race inspection, there is a very limited list of items the NEETS officials will be inspecting.
Rules of THIS race:
1) Safety Rules:
A) All cars must meet NJ Safety Regulations that are listed in the Asphalt Rules Section of the rulebook.
2) Class
A) All cars will be divided into two classes: Small Cars and Big Cars.
Small Cars - Less than 104" wheelbase
Big Cars - 104" or greater wheelbase
3) Body
A) Cars must be steel bodied and/or have stock fenders.
B) No aftermarket body parts or race bodies. No fabricated sheet metal fenders.
C) As always, no tires cutters, sharp edged body parts must be smoothed out.
4) Tires
A) All cars must have Street Approved DOT Tires.
B) No racing tires or Towel Re-treads. No American Racing Tires with DOT Stamp.
C) Tires with DOT stamp must be approved for street use, any tire that reads "For racing purposes only" will not be permitted.
5) Engine, Suspenion and Transmission are OPEN COMP.
A) There will be no restrictions in these areas.
B) However, NEETS Officials can deem vehicles unapproved if they feel the safety of the driver, or other drivers, will be compromised by allowing the vehicle to race.
6) Minimum car counts:
Less than 25 cars = 75 laps
25-50 cars = 150 Laps
More than 50 cars = 200 Laps or 2 Hours

At first arrival at the speedway on the day of the event, after you have registered for the event, you will bring your car to the designated "Tech Area". Your car will be checked for legality...IF your car does not meet the limited NEETS rules for this event, the Tech Inspector will identify the corrections that must be made before the car will be permitted onto the track. If these issues are not corrected, the car will not be permitted on the track. Any driver that has paid their registration fees and fails the pre-race tech, will be given the opportunity to receive a refund of registration fees...IF the driver does not reclaim their fees before the start of the first event, the registration fee will be forfeited.

At the end of the race, a post-race tech will not be performed....this is an open competition, therefore, if the vehicle is permitted onto the track, it will be considered legal for this race.

RULES OF THE RACE
All drivers are expected to be familiar with the NEETS Rules, although the rules listed above are specifically designed for this race, drivers are expected to conduct themselves accordingly as the NEETS Rulebooks prescribe.

The TRUX Race will be a typical NEETS TRUX Race, therefore the above list does not apply...

Decorations
If you decide to decorate your car for the event, please make sure any and all decorations are fastened securely to the vehicle! It is imperative that no sharp or protruding objects are on the sides of your car...no tire cutters!

Event Procedures
Please read over and familiarize yourself with the Rules and Regulations before the event. NEETS hosts a variety of special events which can range from male-female tag-team races to holiday themed events. Keep up to speed by reading and participating on our forum.
