The North East Enduro Tour Series (NEETS) will make its return to Grandview Speedway on Sunday, June 21 with the running of a 107-lap 6/8-cylinder and a 104-lap 4-cylider enduro in the "Pre 4th of Junk-ly".
After running its first asphalt event a few weeks ago, it will be the third dirt track race of the season for NEETS.
Dave Bentley, Jr. visited victory lane in May and Tim Pauch is going for the hat trick, eyeing his third straight NEETS victory at the speedway this season.
Series' Promoter, Joe Cutri said that he was impressed with the amount of drivers that turned the 1/3-mile oval in April and that number grew for the race in May. He hopes that car counts become even greater as more people become interested in the sport of enduro racing.
Pre-registration isn't mandatory for the event, but Cutri had mentioned in the past that he advises drivers to pre-register. One benefit for pre-registered drivers is that they can pull a pill for his or her starting spot, instead of tagging to the rear of the starting field. It also eases the registration process for NEETS officials before racing begins.
The event is slated to begin at 2:30 PM with a grandstand admission price of only $7.
