Sunday, August 1st, will be the third running of the inaugural "GranDuro" event at Grandview Speedway. The event features two 150 lap enduro race and will include a 25 lap SpeedSTR feature as well this year. The Big Car division will be competing for a $1,000 payout to the winner, sponsored by the SpeedSTRS.
The International SpeedSTR Series has been running side by side with the NEETS series very sucessfully this season and the success has been shared as NEETS car count averages have been steady even throough the hardship of the current economy. With this next event offering a $1,000 prize, car counts are expected to increase and possibly even offer more than $1,000 if car counts grow high enough!
In addition to the SpeedSTR sponsorship for this event, the Montgomery County SPCA will make an appearance with adoptable pets early on in the day. So come out, bring some pet food and enjoy the modt family friendly enduro racing from your favorite series...NEETS and the SpeedSTRS!
