Joe Jentile, Nikki Wachs & Frank
Katona are Fem-Duro Winners
By:

The NEETS Holiday Stock Car Series was back in action on Sunday afternoon at Mahoning Valley Speedway.
Joe Jentile of Bedminster was back to his winning ways in the 6/8-Cylinder division as he drove to his fourth win in six events held thus far.
Jentile took the lead on lap two and much the way he has been doing in all previous NEETS 6/8-Cylinder races, he was in a league of his own.
By mid-race he had built an insurmountable lead and as the checkered flag waved he was again reaping another victory.
With the exception of the opening race in which he finished in last place and earlier this month when he was 5th, Jentile, has been on the mark of perfection. He remains the all-time feature winner with NEETS.
Phil Lamonaco, teammate to Jentile, was second and the only other car to finish on the lead lap.
Nikki Wachs of Hanover Township edged popular SCCA road racer Sam Ryan in what was a very competitive race for the 4-Cylinder class event.
The first 25-laps had several lead changes take place and once Wachs moved out front for good, she had to contend with non-stop traffic as well as the pressure some efforts of Ryan who was the most recent 4-Cylinder winner.
Frank Katona of Treskow jumped into the lead of the TRUX feature on lap five and once in front was never headed.
Katona turned in a dominating show as cruised effortlessly with each passing lap. He was a few feet away from lapping the entire field as second place finisher Richard Petey just barely held onto the lead lap.
In the Fem-duro, which was a combination feature between the ladies and men, the 6/8 winners were Mariah and Woot Lawernce while in the 4-cylinders it was Nikki Wachs and Harry Sager.
